Willpower!!

The one thing no one can give you on your weight loss journey is willpower. You have to find your own. Is it always there in abundance? No! Do you need it? Yes !


Everyone starts with good intentions but a lot of people fall at the first hurdle such as the cakes being handed out at work or the cocktails and snacks at an event.


I am not saying you should never have the treats. BUT. If you give in to every craving and skip every workout you don't feel like doing then you will never reach your goals.

Consistency is key and you need willpower and motivation to go with that consistency.


There will be days when you have to drag yourself in the gym or turn down your favourite cake. But it is what you need to do. Once you get used to it I promise it will get easier. But you can't expect to skip the workouts, eat extra calories regularly and still lose weight and reach your goals.


It is a lifestyle change, a permanent one. You need to switch your thinking to long term. If you do it all for 6 months then return to old behaviours then you will also return to your old body. There is no such thing as a quick fix that lasts long term.

If you don't want to commit to a permanent lifestyle change that's completely your choice, just don't expect to change your body.
